Plate 59 from Journal of a voyage to New South Wales by John White (J. Debrett, London, 1790). The accompanying text states that this is the same species as the preceding plate (of the Brush tailed phascogale) but is most likely a near black variety of the Quoll. The plate is inscribed: 'C.
