In bronze gilt with blue enamels, measuring 38. 5 mm (w) x 58. 2 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension, intact enamels, on its full length original neck ribbon, extremely fine. Footnote: The Medal for Excellence in Education was instituted on February 24, 1955, for meritorious service in regard to education. It was
