Sir Henry Segrave Virgil Master (active 1380-1420) seducer and rapist stands inSir Henry Segrave, American born British world speed record driver, 1930. Sir Henry O'Neil de Hane Segrave (1896 1930) was the first person to break the 200 mph barrier when he set a new Land Speed Record driving his 'Golden Arrow' in 1927. As well as holding the record on three separate occasions, Segrave was also a successful racing driver. In 1930 he was killed on Lake Windermere while attempting to break the water speed record..
