A 1942 Slovak Boating Competition Goblet Newly Listed It is dated to 1943/44Constructed of nickel silver, consisting of a deep stylized goblet perched on top of a lacquered wooden centrepiece, in turn affixed to a nickel silver base, the exterior of the goblet bearing an etched dedication to a participant in a 1942 Slovak national boating competition on the Danube, unmarked, measuring 120 mm (w) x 288 mm (h), with some scratching and tarnishing evident, in overall better than very fine condition.
