This is a lovely small Burmese lacquer box decorated with “yun-de” incised decoration

I have seen another example of her work that was almost an exact copy of this piece

Binding is in pretty good shape and the book is holding together very well

Smiling Old Jointed Clothes Pin Man gold teeth This super sweet vintage handwovenA funny, happy little fellow, carved from a clothes pin I believe, with what I might guess is cigar box wood for his arms and legs, attached by wire and moving to and fro. Hes lost the toe of one black painted shoe but otherwise is in very good shape, with black tempera paint for his hat and face, slate gray for his shirt, and bright blue for his pants. 6 t x 1 1 8 wide, sound and not fragile, with a great dark dry wood patina to his face!
