While Carmen Ohio embodies all the affection Buckeyes have for their alma mater, Dougherty Jr. felt it didnt hit the notes necessary to amp up the Scarlet and Gray before stomping the gridiron, hence the addition of the now classic Across the Field to the catalogue. The song has proven so popular its been co opted
