documents demonstrate they already had vineyards in 1570…Claudia Susanna Padelletti runs the firm today
The wine is wild fermented in our barn with no added sulfur and bottled toward the end of active fermentation
It is then racked into large barrels (“botte” made by Gargalotto and of Slavonian origin) and left to age in cask for forty-two months
Great values for indigenous Sicilian wines
complemented by wood shavings and a little nuttiness
Domaine Michel Niellon Chassagne Montrachet 2022 GLERA documents demonstrate they already hadDomaine Niellon have been on a roll, recent vintages have seen them produce some of their finest wines yet. Their village Chassagne comes from six parcels dotted around the village and sees only a little new oak. It shows a smoky reductive nose with notes of limes and hazelnuts. Rich attack, acids in the background alongside a deep salinity which tightens things up. Notes of lime around an apricot core. Good length. Will drink well young.
