Woman with Fat Rolled Curls, Wonderful Antique Carved Bust three drawer tabletop chest date to the early 1830sPurchased from a New Hampshire based dealer, I am not certain the origins of this beauty, but presume she's European, and certainly quite old (based on the hairstyle I would guess mid 18th c.), with a patch of what I believe are worm holes on the left side of the bust. I love her not quite symmetrical face, which makes this feel much more like a specific portrait than a generalization, and especially the fat, rolled curls of her hairstyle, which make
