McCall Corchaug Estate North Fork of Long Island 'Reserve' Merlot 2015 Size:Regular Our “Black Chardonnay” production method2015 was a very warm year for North Fork growers. this translates to juicy rich fruit flavors, nice structure, and a velvety mouthfeel. Our Corchaug Estate was planted with Merlot because of the unique clay (unusual in our area). Merlot thrives in clay soil, so we planted three clones and blend them into our wines. We take the extra care to release our reds only when they begin to show maturity.
