Victorian Wallpaper Covered Wood and Board Box, Newspaper Covered Bottom Patrick furneaux To my eye just aEarly wallpaper boxes are usually far beyond my reach, but I think this one, late 19th c. or so, I believe, is really lovely, and with a wooden lid and base, very sturdy and useful, too. I especially love those fields of tiny black dots surrounding the red and green flowers. There is no date on the newspaper adhered to the bottom, which seems to tell the story of a cash strapped Caroline trying to make her way through her struggles, with every inch of
