Sweet Old Scratch Made Wooden Biplane Japanese box ) I have found noI purchased this one from a dealer who I believe found it in Pennsylvania, and I'd guess it dates to the 1920s or so. Nothing fussy about it, and quite elegantly constructed, with string threaded back and forth through holes in the top and bottom wings, and a carved propeller that rotates, attached by an old iron nail. All painted a solid dark red, with a a mix of old nails and wire holding the pieces together. 9 5 8" x 8 5 16" x 2 5 8" and in very
